Professor Zhang Kaiyuan
|
Professor Zhang Kaiyuan was born in July 1926 in Wuxing County,
Zhejiang Province (China). In his youth he attended the University
of Nanking; subsequently he taught at Central China Normal University
(CCNU). He is a founder and director of the Research Institute
of the Revolution of 1911, the Research Institute of Modern
Chinese History (formerly the Research Institute of History
of the CCNU), and the Center for the Study of Chinese Christian
Colleges. Zhang was the president of the CCNU from 1983-1990.
He had been a member of the National Board of Accreditation
and director of its Committee on History. |
